Warranty
The fine print, up front.
Most repair shops bury their warranty in a receipt you read after you've paid. Ours is on the website, before you book, in plain English — including the parts we won't cover.
If a repair isn't worth doing — the board is gone, the part costs more than the device is worth — we'll tell you that instead of quoting you for it.
What the warranty covers
- The part we installed, for as long as you own the device.
- Our workmanship — if the same fault returns, we redo it at no charge.
- Board-level repairs for 90 days from the day you get the device back.
- The diagnosis itself. If we can't fix it, you don't pay for us looking.
What it doesn't
- New damage — another drop, a fresh crack, liquid after the repair.
- Faults in parts we didn't supply or install.
- Devices opened by someone else after we've worked on them.
- Data loss. We'll always tell you the risk before we start, not after.
Sustainability
Repair first. Recycle right.
Most of the country's e-waste ends up in landfill, and one operator controls the bulk of the recycling pipeline nationally — with very little accountability to the places it collects from. We think SEQ deserves better than that.
Mendly is building its own certified device recycling pipeline — local, transparent, and accountable to Brisbane. Every device that can't be repaired gets a documented second life, not a bin.
